I’ve seen a lot online recently about this (perhaps it’s just my algorithm), and realised it’s something I’d never been able to put into words—yet it’s plagued me my whole life, until recently.
this resonated so much with me! i'm so scared of being perceived that even when i'm cooking and someone comes into the kitchen, my whole body tenses up and i get hyperaware of everything i'm doing until they leave.
it's something i'm determined to work on this year and, with my new substack page, i hope i get one step closer :)
I've just joined sub stack to spite this sentiment - love this!
So glad to here! Welome to Substack!
It’s so true- the only person to fear is you!
Always! (I just forget that sometimes)
I think being unseen is worse 😊 thank you for writing. This really resonated with me.
I agree, and I’d rather try to be seen then never try at all. Glad to hear it resonated with you, thank you for reading!
