One of the best things I could have done for myself. I would definitely recommend it to any creative even to help experiment with you creativity and production!!
I also found that I needed to be off social media more because of my anxiety. Your suggestions are great and will certainly help others who have the same struggle. One thing that really helped me initially was to move my apps from my Home Screen and bury them on a page further back so I couldn’t get to them easily. I had to do that otherwise I would open them without even thinking. Social media can be so addictive!
i loved this article because its so true. i would like to reference what you said above: "My Instagram feed seems more about the perfect picture of a fake life than an authentic one" - and i'd like to add that self-sabotage might be due to the consumption of these fake representations of the life of people in social media. no matter that we know its fake - they seem to be successful, they know what they're doing, they get thousands of likes and comments and so, we procastinate due to this fear of failure. that we won't be as successful as them. so it's easier to consume this content and live through their success than bothering to put in the time to create our own.
How are you liking following The Artist's Way? I've been meaning to do it, but I keep putting it off.
